Life can be challenging and it is almost inevitable that we may struggle from time to time, and wish to speak to someone other than friends and family. Counselling offers a safe and non-judgmental space to discuss what is happening for you, with someone who is trained, objective and professional.

By choosing to have counselling you are making a pro-active decision to reflect on your experience, examine your choices and consider any changes you may wish to make. My aim is support you through this process by listening and asking questions that help you gain the necessary insight and awareness that will enable you to make the changes you want.

I believe that counselling helps us to stop existing on auto-pilot, consider our choices, adapt and develop.

How I can help

You are the expert on you. Whilst I have extensive training and experience (all of which you can read on the  About Me page), you are unique and new to me. You may be experiencing feelings and emotions that many other clients have felt or had similar experiences, but your story is different, your current situation is unique to you.

The work we do together therefore will be unique to you, there is no set pattern or formula to my work. Whilst my training has taught me a variety of techniques, our work together will be at your pace and will meet your particular needs as you present them. In practice, each week you will bring what is utmost on your mind to each session and together we will search for what this means on a surface and deeper level. We will consider feelings and behaviour, investigate learned responses and patterns, and gain insight into potential changes, direction, boundaries and acceptances you may wish to make.

Services offered: Individual Work, Couples Counselling and Supervision

As well as individual work I am also trained as a couples therapist.

As described above, all my work is tapered to the individual, couple or supervisee I am working with. I am happy to work online or at my office near Farnham, Surrey.

I offer both individual and group supervision and have experience of supervising counsellors and other care work professionals.

FEES

Individual counselling: £65 per 50minute session.

Couples Counselling: £90 per 50 minute session

Supervision: £70 per hour or £100 for 1.5hrs
